Title of project: The flexible workspace experience – the views of corporate real estate managers, human resources managers and employees

You are being invited to take part in a research study. Before you decide whether or not to take part, it is important for you to understand why the research is being done and what it will involve. Please take time to read the following information carefully.
What is the purpose of the research?
My research explores corporate real estate strategies with a focus on flexible workspaces. I will analyse the views of corporate real estate managers, human resources managers and employees to understand their expectation and experience in using flexible workspaces. |
Do I have to take part?
No. Your participation is voluntary. If you do decide to take part you will be given this information sheet to keep and be asked to sign a consent form. If you decide to take part you are still free to withdraw at any time up to the completion of data collection and without giving a reason. |
What will happen to the results of the research study?
The data gathered during this research project may be used in my Ph.D thesis. The data may also be used in future publications including, but not limited to, books, journal articles and conference proceedings.
All data will be anonymized in the collection, storage and publication of research materials unless explicit consent has been given not to anonymize it. All data generated by the study will be retained in accordance with University of Aberdeen Research Governance Framework.
The data will be transported by the researcher in safe locked briefcase dedicated to the information of the research. The data then will be analysed and kept in a locked cabinet in safe place and computers used will be password protected. |

Who is organising and funding the research?
I am conducting the research as part of my PhD studies, which is funded by the Elphinstone Scholarship. |

The research has been approved by the Committee for Research Ethics and Governance in Arts, Social Sciences & Business, University of Aberdeen. |
